User Review of Dell XPS 13 - Ultrabook

The XPS 13 being Dell's first launch of an ultra book ,they have done a good job as per the look is concerned. It resembles a classier, sleeker version of the XPS 14z, closely match the MacBook Air! It is even narrower but the weight is little bit more.

The look of Dell XPS13 is impressive because of its clean design. Battery indicator at the side is a nice thought. On the connectivity front it lags behind. Only two USB ports, no provision for wired network and strangely no slots for memory cards too! Speakers are invisible but audible. Spacious palm rest and responsive touch pad is appreciable. This beast has Intel’s quadcore i7 processor at its head, with 256 GB solid state hard drive. Intel’s graphic is enough for daily computing as well as 720P videos. 13.3 inch LED display looks bright but lack in crispiness and vibrancy. You will be greatly disappointed by the viewing angle of the screen. Battery life is on the lower side – 4 hours on an average.

Conclusion: Though, looks great and closely resembles MacBook Air on look, it lacks in many fronts. The price (Rs.99.990) is too high for this kind of specs.
